Karen is a devoted mother to three adult daughters, Granny K to two beautiful grandchildren, a doting dog mum and a dedicated support coordinator.
My personal experience with a daughter requiring the support of the NDIS has inspired me to assist other families and people experiencing trials, tribulations, and the successes of navigating the scheme. I understand the personal challenges of supporting a family member with extra care.
I believe everyone has the right to an enriched fulfilling life and work hard to reflect that value in the support I give to the people and families I assist.
I have a hard-working ethic and work flexibly to fit in with the people I support. I pride myself in providing a reliable, responsive service with personal values. I am confident in the workings of NDIS and am dedicated to keeping up with developments. I have had seven years’ experience as a support coordinator including three of that specialist coordination.
My love for friends, family, animals, and gardening keeps me grounded.
I enjoy my work and genuinely care for the people I assist with the aim of making each person’s NDIS plan flow as effectively as possible.

Making a leap into the not-for-profit sector in 2015 Paula worked closely with the NDIS Hills Trial site to learn the ins and outs of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and was able to utilise this knowledge assist people to implement their NDIS plans and develop their understanding of their plans and how to utilise it to live their best life. Alongside working with individuals and families she also managed a large team of Support Coordinators and Specialist Support Coordinators. Paula presented training on the Art of Support Coordination for new and aspiring support coordinators on behalf of NDS.
In 2022, missing the direct contact with individuals and families Paula made the decision to step back from management roles and focus again on working directly with people.
